Not only is this process tiresome, but it’s also not an efficient use of HR’s time.

Modern Controls for a Sleek User Interface

We’ve integrated modern controls for a sleek user experience, using containers to have all necessary data in one place. This not only enhances the user interface but also simplifies the maintenance and responsiveness of the app.

Multiple Filters on Gallery

The app includes multiple filters in the gallery, allowing users to quickly find information based on their needs, such as department or status. The responsive design ensures a smooth experience, dynamically adjusting to provide a better interface.

Instant Manager Notifications with Teams Adaptive Cards

Managers receive a Teams notification leveraging Adaptive Cards, informing them of the separation details. A deep link takes them directly to the Power App, where they can complete their portion of the form with a single click.

Transforming Multiple Select Combo Boxes

We’ve converted multiple select combo boxes into checkboxes, making it easier for employees to select reasons for leaving. This feature enhances usability and ensures accurate data entry.

Deep Linking for Easy Navigation

Deep linking allows managers to jump directly to the relevant record in the Power App, streamlining their workflow and reducing the chance of errors.

We included multiple filters in the gallery to help users find what they’re looking for efficiently. The dropdown for departments is dynamically generated from the SharePoint list, ensuring only relevant departments appear.

Adaptive Cards are a powerful tool, and we’ve used Power Automate to create and send them. These cards provide all necessary details at a glance, allowing managers to take quick action.

Transforming Combo Boxes

By using a gallery and checkboxes, we’ve created a user-friendly way to select multiple items. The selections are stored in variables that are easy to manipulate and maintain.

Deep Linking for Simplified Access

Deep linking is implemented to ensure managers can easily navigate to the employee’s record in the Power App. This feature saves time and reduces the complexity of the process.
